Statistical Tests

After checking the assumptions for parametric tests (see the Assumptions section),
we can proceed with an Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to evaluate whether the predictors have an effect on CO2 uptake.

The results indicate that both the CO2 concentration and the treatment (chilled vs. non-chilled)
have a statistically significant effect on CO2 uptake.

In contrast, no significant interaction between concentration and treatment is observed.
This suggests that the effect of CO2 concentration on uptake is similar for both plant groups.
